Maintain and care for your new whiter brighter smile. Smile FX not
only helps you get the whitest smile ever - we help keep your smile its’ brightest.
After your whitening session(s) have been completed you can choose from a selection
of state-of-the-art products. They have been carefully selected to help maintain
your new smile, and keep your teeth healthy, so you can enjoy your beautiful new
smile for a long, long time.
Post Treatment Information
After you complete your whitening session(s), there is some very important
information to help you care for and maintain your new whiter brighter smile.
24 hours
For the first 24 hours after
whitening do not to consume food or drinks that are likely to cause stains.
These include: curries, beets, carrots, blueberries, tomato sauces, dark
gravy, red wine, coffee, tea, colas, etc.
White Spots on Teeth
In some cases you may see white spots on certain areas of one or more teeth.
These are typically caused by calcium deposits or very porous teeth. These
will normally disappear within 24 hours.
White Spots on Gums
Should you have any scrapes or cuts on your gums
you may see a white spot and you may feel some sensitivity during
your whitening session. These will normally disappear within 24 hours.
Sensitivity
Smile FX prides itself in being the number one product
on the market for people with Tooth Sensitivity. A small percentage
of people however, will still have minor tooth and/or gum sensitivity.
This normally dissipates within 30 minutes. If sensitivity persists, use
a toothpaste developed for sensitivity.
Touch Up Treatments
After your initial whitening treatment a 20-minute "touch-up" session
every 6 to 12 months is recommended.
Maintain FX Whitening Pen
To keep your whiter smile its brightest and
to whiten hard to reach areas, we recommend you use our Maintain FX
Whitening Pen. For heavy consumers of staining foods and/or drinks, use
on a daily basis. For moderate consumers use 1-3 times per week.
